DrillBoard Ventures: United Soccer Coaches Convention 2024

DrillBoard enjoyed another very successful week at the United Soccer Coaches Convention.

This year marked our 10th visit to convention, which is always a great opportunity to foster new relationships, gain new insights and catch up with dear friends on the soccer side of the pond.

Of particular note was Lynn Berling-Manuel’s ground-breaking analysis of soccer coach salaries. Sometimes you get a glimpse of something really important in its early stages - this work is one of those things. The start of a conversation that could and should help us make the game affordable for the people it relies on the most, the coaches.

Billed as “The World’s Largest Annual Gathering of Soccer Coaches and Administrators” the 2024 United Soccer Coaches Convention moved to the West Coast and the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County, CA. Next year convention will take place in Chicago and we already have plans in motion for Chicago 2025.
